This policy explains how KAizen Chess Lab uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies.

Necessary storage

Firebase authentication and KAizen browser storage support sign-in, security, account routing, preferences, pending checkout state, and unfinished training progress. These functions are necessary for the service to operate and may remain available when optional analytics are declined.

Analytics and advertising

HeyCatch essential product telemetry initializes on every page to record product interactions, routes, device and session metadata, and diagnostic events. When you sign in, KAizen associates that telemetry with your account UID and may include your email, display name, plan, signup date, and completed signup, onboarding, or purchase events. The footer control does not disable this essential telemetry.

Firebase/Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Reddit Pixel, and Reddit Conversions API are optional services enabled by default to measure landing-page visits, signup activity, game-analysis milestones, subscription interest, purchases, campaign attribution, and technical performance. Reddit server conversion events may include an advertising click identifier, browser information, and one-way SHA-256 hashes of account identifiers for matching; raw email addresses, chess games, and coaching content are not sent to Reddit. These providers process information under their own privacy terms.

Your choice

Your initial optional-analytics choice is automatically saved as accepted in browser storage under kaizen.cookieConsent.v1. The footer control lets you reject or re-enable optional advertising and campaign analytics at any time. The saved preference takes effect after the page reloads and does not change HeyCatch essential product telemetry.
